THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND


1.   COVID-19 VIRUR IS NOVEL.

This means it has no immunity, vaccine or cure. Take the best precaution.

Eccl. 10.10:  ... and wisdom is profitable to direct


2.   NOT EVERYTHING YOU HEAR IS TRUE

Get facts and hold on to it. Don't just entertain news, feelings and fear.

Prov. 23.23: Get the facts at any price and hold on to good sense. 


3.   60 YOs + WITH PRE-EXISTING AILMENTS

This group of people are more vulnerable and therefore at-risk. 
Take extra precautions (e.g. stay home).

Prov. 13.16: The prudent man always acts out of knowledge.  


4.   THIS TOO SHALL PASS

2nd Corinthians 4.17: For our temporary and momentary troubles will not last. They are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we focus NOT on what is seen but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal. 


5.   ADHERE TO INSTRUCTIONS

7.   GOD IS FOR YOU & HE'S IN CONTROL

God, your Father, is still in control and His plans for you are still good, they have not changed. And He's always with you. 

Isaiah 43.1: But now, this is what The Lord says, He who created YOU. He who formed YOU: "Do not fear, for I have redeemed You; I have summoned YOU by name. YOU are mine. When YOU pass through the waters, I will be with YOU; and when YOU pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over YOU. When YOU walk through the fire, YOU will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am The Lord YOUR God. The Holy One of Israel. YOUR Saviour. 


8.   DON'T MISS CHURCH SERVICES

Heb. 10.25: Let us not neglect our church meetings, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of His coming back again is drawing near. Do not forsake the gathering of believers.


9.   DONT EXPOSE YOURSELF TO THE VIRUS

Don't tempt God by exposing yourself to the virus.
