Most times, we lose such opportunity because we are embarrassed and cannot stand on our own. One of the keys to Positive Change is preparation. According to dictionary definition, preparation is getting things done in anticipation of an upcoming event. It is also the process of getting ready for an occurrence. In some parts of Nigeria, naming ceremony for a new-born baby is usually done on the eighth day. The baby is given names (an identity) to distinguish him or her from other babies. This identity stays with the baby and throughout its life. The eighth day set aside for naming a child, is also a day for circumcision of a male child. Circumcision connotes you entering into a new relationship with God; you make a covenant with God, and you are separated unto God.

One of the greatest truths you need to counteract fear is that God is with you (Isaiah 41:10-16). One of the last words of Jesus is “I will be with you till the end of time.” You can stand against anything once you have knowledge that God is with you.

My prayer is that if you have missed it in life or made mistakes, God will preserve your heritage and you will fulfil your God-given destiny in Jesus Mighty Name. With faith, you should expect restoration from today. Satan can only delay, he can never truncate the plan and purpose of God for your life.

There is a popular adage that says, "No cross, no crown." This implies, no pain, no gain. Even our LORD Jesus Christ had to die - the death on the Cross; the most shameful death you can ever imagine to obtain a Name that is above every other name. NOTHING GOES FOR NOTHING.

Mercy is kindness that you do not deserve. You are alive today by the mercy of God, because Ephesians 2:12-13 says "that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ."

Mercy is an irrevocable solemn commitment by God of His promise to fashion out a people whom He desires that should serve Him; and in return, He promises to love and protect them. Mercy can also be referred to as an abundance of the steadfast love of God. This love is reserved in particular for those who truly love God and keep His commandments.

What protects you from sin is the Word of God that you have inside of you. The ultimate strategy of the enemy is to get you out of fellowship with God, because he knows that the moment that you are out of fellowship with God, you are immediately vulnerable. Sin gets you out of fellowship with God. Sin also weakens your faith, and the enemy knows that you can only overcome by faith.
