Guest Ministers' Sermons

Jesus came to redeem us back to the Father. He also came so that we can understand the Father, as He modelled for us what an ideal man should be. However, since no one has met Jesus, the only understanding we have of Him is what is written in the Bible. Hence, everyone who has met Jesus, met Him through the Word of God and this should be the standard to know whether He was rich or poor.

A New Song for A New Level by Pastor James Bamidele Sturdivant
The phrase "a New Song” is a statement of transition. It implies that there must have been an old song; and something happened that caused the old song to no longer be necessary, but for something new to be sung. Whenever you hear the concept of a New Song, it is making reference to something having a greater capacity to bring something forward (Matthew 9:17).

For there to be a Positive Change in your life, you must be ready for it. There is nothing as frustrating as been put in a situation that you are not ready for. Most times, we lose such opportunity because we are embarrassed and cannot stand on our own. One of the keys to Positive Change is preparation. According to dictionary definition, preparation is getting things done in anticipation of an upcoming event. It is also the process of getting ready for an occurrence. Often times, we go through challenges in life but we have no idea that God used those challenging times to prepare us for the future. Every successful man or woman has been baked in the womb of preparation, and were able to take advantage of the opportunity.

Religion is often a call to duty, but the will of God for those who have come to understanding, it is a delight. This why the Psalmist said “I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart” (Psalm 40:8). It is important that those who have invited the Kingdom of God into their lives should know that the next most important thing is the will of God. The world has couched this into purpose, and when purpose is used in the context of the will of God, it is very confusing.

The Fatherhood of God is something everyone needs to understand and embrace because it holds the key to your voluntary submission to the divine will. When the Bible says to us that God is love, the will of God is love. This is how God acts; everything God does, He does out of love. Everyone needs to understand the will of God, it is defined and determined in content by love.

Prayer is the most important tool of a spiritual life. It is by it that the visible connects with the invisible. It is through it that the intangible becomes tangible. In addition, it is through prayer that earth invades Heaven so that Heaven may invade the earth. You must not pray at the same level with which you prayed last year. Every year, you must assess and re-assess your prayer life, because prayer is the only weapon you have to connect with God, and it is the only weapon you have to bring about God's purposes here on earth.

Don't Doubt God By Pastor J.E. Bamidele

One of the most difficult things to get believers to do is believe. Believers know how to rationalise, conceptualise, and know how to tell you why something would not work, but one of the hardest things to get believers to do is believe.

CHRISTMAS NEWS @ COD CAROL 2016

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Even though we are in a Christmas period, the hearts of many are troubled. Many in our nation today have lost their source of income, and some do not know where their next meal will come from. One thing Jesus says is “Do not let your heart be troubled,” which means there’s enough in you not to allow your hearts to be troubled. Jesus went further to say in His Father’s house there are many mansions and He goes to prepare a place for you (John 14:1-4).

I Am An All-Sufficient God, Therefore, This Season, You Will Not Lack by Pastor James Bamidele Sturdivant
God Can Sustain What He Has Given You Until He Provides Something Better For You (Deuteronomy 24:5): The Almighty God has a way of doing it that even when you don't have the resource, you have THE SOURCE. Hence, God pulls away everything you trust in, to make you trust Him. Until that which God has promised you comes to you, God will sustain you in your now while you are waiting for your next. Until your breakthrough comes, God will not let you break down.

This Season, I Will Not, I Cannot Be Denied by Pastor James Bamidele Sturdivant
